It has been pretty quiet around here. Not because i want it to be, but because several other projects including a very special swap are consuming almost all of my blogging time. I am hoping to find a balance soon.
I still haven't totally recover from what i now refer to as my "recurring vascular displeasure" {migraine}...to a point i caved in and dragged myself to the doctor yesterday.
As busy as i've been, i am happy to say i spent a good potion of the week working on my iCase project. I've been playing around with the case design ~ trying this and that. After many many days of hunched shoulders, my iCase is slowly evolving and shaping up nicely. Here's a little sneak peek, in case you are curious.
This iCase is really special for several reasons, primarily because it's my very first iCase and it's for a very special friend.
I don't know about you, but i could really use some rest and relax cheer over the weekend. I'm also looking forward to sew and drink tea, meet up with some girl friends and of course, a lot of lounging. At least those are a few things i hope to do.
Hope you have a sweet relaxing weekend! Lots of love to you and yours.

Hi Sweetie! Oh, I am sooo sorry about the migraine. I had those for years. I hope you feel better and have a relaxing weekend. The iCase is looking great, btw. And if I could, I would send you a huge bouquet of the Lily of the Valley for your wedding. big hug, xo – g

So sorry to hear you have been unwell. Your whole post just reminded me so much of myself. I have been suffering severe head pains for about 2 months now, and the dr is trying to figure out why it is happening, and in the mean time I am trying to keep up with life.
I hope you will find your balance soon, and feel much better. Sending hugs x

Hi Jacqueline, sorry to hear about your recurring vascular displeasure. Hope that you will feel much better over the weekend. Usually this are triggered by certain events or food. Migraines - mama I've had a few and they do feel like they suck all your energy out! I love your blog - it is so cute it hurts!

I'm sorry to hear about your head issues. I know from a lifetime of bad headaches how terrible they can be.
I wonder though, you said you've been working a lot hunched over, and maybe this posture is causing your problems?
I've had a headache off and on since mothers day, after working for 10 hours straight on a painting for her. And, I know it's because of how I was hunched down doing lots of detail work. Anyway just a thought to think about.
Whatever it is I hope you find relief very soon!
And I really like your new Icase. It's just beautiful! Love the embellishing and colors. :)
Have a wonderful weekend with your friends, sounds like a great time!

Hope you're feeling better now, the iCase is looking good. The sun has finally come out in my part of the world and I'm definitely planning to take it easy and rest lounging in my sunny garden this weekend, sneaking back inside to do some drawing every now and then :)

Dearest Jacqueline,
migraines are terrible and I'm so sorry you are having to deal with them on a regular basis. I went through migraines at one time but for me they were hormone related ... I hope your doctor finds the cause of yours and you can put them behind you. They really do zap you of energy - both physically and emotionally so I hope you can find a cure soon - there are certainly many healing suggestions here :)
Lovely work and photography as always J, I have come to expect nothing less of you ... you are such a gifted artist, and such a lovely friend,
Alli xx
