I hope your weekend was beautiful and relaxing and all the things you needed it to be. Mine was excellent with a few surprises. Well... not exactly surprises if you continue to read on but i like to think of them that way.
I recently confirmed something about myself. For a while now, i've noticed whenever the deadline for a project is quickly approaching or i have taken on too many "to do" things at once ~ i normally feel kinda stressed about it. Over the weekend, i have to drop everything and focus on some other things which have been boggling in my mind for a LONG while.
It finally happened. I know i am going to get my hands on a good one some day but i just never know when it's going to happen but last sunday was the day. I have no complaints...let's toast!
Finally getting around to make Broccoli-cheddar soup! It has taken me forever to finally do it. If your wondering "How's the soup" ~ well, to me it was super tasty {even thought i couldn't find the blender and have to use alternative ways to make the soup creamy as can be}! This is definitely one of those cozy comfort food for those cold days. I was indeed in for quite a treat!
In crafty news, i've finally completed a custom order and a gift. I'll post some photos of finished pieces soon. Before i go, i want to also thank you everyone for participating in my little giveaway. I really appreciate all the support ~ the October giveaways were quite fun to get lost in during the planning process.
Have a lovely merry happy week ~ can't believe October is almost coming to an end. Be well out there. Love to you and yours!
Hi jacqueline. Congratulations on your new purchase! IT IS NICE.... I also newly acquired a D60 Nikon.... i was so happy that day, as am sure you are. I also wanted to ask, i see that you posted the fish bowl button....i have been trying to post it but have had no luck. If you have the time, can you quickly give me a clue. I've been trying to follow the typepad help section but grrrrr.... it is not working!

SUPER camera purchase, Jacqueline! You will have fun with that. I'm a photo-freak too, so I share your enthusiasm. :o) That soup looks ever so good...mmm... It's cold, gray and drizzly rain here, so soup would be good about now! Visiting here is always so much fun... Happy Day, my friend ((BIG HUGS))

Congratulations on the new camera - it looks like a pretty serious piece of equipment!
(I've been meaning to make Erin's soup too! I don't have a blender, but I prefer my soups on the chunky side anyway)
Have a great weekend, dear :)

Hi my lovely Jacqueline! I'm so so happy that you got your new camera! I'm sure that you are going to have a lot of fun with it! I saw an online tutorial to learn how to work with mine. You may find this useful:

For me it was a big help since I find reading the manuals really hard :P
Your soup seems to be really yummy! I love making new dishes too, so I should give it a try for sure!! ;)
Hugs!!!
