The week, it's moving very quickly. I'm recovering quite well from a terrific birthday weekend ~ thanks for all the lovely lovely birthday wishes. So far, so good...it was so nice to find some time to get started on my embroidery tale clutches project i've been thinking about. It was also pretty exciting to be productive.
These are what i've been creating lately. Birds and trees. Yep, the first few embroidery tales of the new year. I'm starting to feel the creative juices begin to flow again. I have big plans to get this project put in my shop sometime next month but first hopefully some clutches will materialize soon in the next couple of weeks. I'll post some photos of finished pieces. For now, here's a closeup of the fabrics and the tales....
With a little discipline, i'm also in the process of making my first SoCuteItHurts tutorial "Bias toward the Pretty". More soon.
Here's to another lovely merry happy weekend {early weekend wishes}. Love to you and yours!
What gorgeous fabric! Can't wait to see your finished beautiful clutches :) So happy to be with you in class again. Have a lovely weekend, my dear friend! Take care, Wini xo

You have some intriguing and exciting projects cooking in your studio Jacqueline - - I'm very curious about your tutorial! And I love the little birds in embroidery -- they are so sweet and delicate. Just lovely! You do beautiful work!
p.s. i've been thinking about you today as I have my sewing machine humming along trying to finish an old sewing project. So far no tears!

Jacqueline, I'm so happy to have found your blog! (I can already tell that BYW is going to leave me with a lot less free time...) I'm a sewer, too- my background is in fashion and I love home crafting stuff. I can tell that I'm going to have a lot to look at here :)
Also, thank you so much for your kind comment on my blog last week; it's so nice to have the support of not just regular readers, but new ones as well!
