It took some time, but I'm finally getting around to show you another project. Yipee, i knocked off one item on my scary-to-do list.
As i was organizing my supplies, i found these cute walnuts shells that i collected a while back on my first christmas vacation to visit the mister and his family {Hamburg, Germany}. I wasn't sure which project to use them with so i kept them aside and has forgotten about them. I think it's about time i made them into something useful and adorable. In the end i decided to make these little ornaments because they would look so adorable on a tree and when christmas is over, they could be use as key-chains or decorations or even as pincushions.
I had some cross-stitch fabric i really wanted to use and i just went with it. And it's funny, i had forgotten how fun it was to work on some cross-stitches. Good times in the little studio. I'm quite smitten with how they turned out, especially the fact that they look puffy. Cute, eh? Perfect for some holiday cheer. I would love some feedback on these little ornaments. No pressure, though.
Hope you have a great weekend.
I'm looking forward to tackle some of the projects on my scary-to-do list, make some comfort food and of course, a bit of lounging. At least those are a few things I hope to do.
Love to you and yours!.
So sweet! I would have never thought of that. You might want to pop on over to my blog!!!

Those little walnuts are so cute. When I was a little girl we use to make little babies and put blankets over them. There is something so cozy about a walnut shell. Happy Weekend.

These are super cute...isn't is so wonderful to use up supplies in the studio. A xmas sale I am doing this Saturday has been primarily prepared for using studio things I already had and it just feels really good...and forces you to be that much more creative:D
