Hope your weekend was warm and merry. I was making rather merry during my week long holiday. Long mornings with nowhere to be, staying in my pajamas a little longer and taking my own sweet time eating every meal. Soup and yoga over the weekend added a lovely touch to the end of my holiday.
I've tried to be a busy bee with holiday crafting time. I managed to get several sewing projects designs completed (including a contribution project) ~ lots of design patterns, pairing fabrics, little (sweet) notes and measurements written down in my sweet pink leather journal.
I'm making progress on one of the sewing projects, a secret garden. Imagine that. And i'm having quite a bit of fun with it, though i do find embroidery to be very tedious but yet very relaxing. I didn't even bother to clean up my little studio after each night.
I wanted to say thanks to each of you who commented such sweet things about my first journal project. It feels good to have made a big check beside that item on my list. The journal seems to be a big hit. I hope to make a few more in different designs. Once again, your kindness, love and support is amazing. Dankeschön.
My schedule is back to weeknights crafting.
Still lots to do in the crafting department.
Have a beautiful week.
Happy Monday.
Love to you.
Dearest Jacqueline,
It sounds like you have a relaxing enjoyable long weekend holiday :D
The secret garden project sounds so exciting, I can't wait to see that!
Have a fantastic week ahead!

love it! so wish I could see well enough to do that type of sewing again, but it seems to hurt the eyes... so I will just have to vicariously watch your secret garden grow. OK?

A Secret Garden??!! Oh, I can't wait to see/hear about that... I love the idea of sewing a secret garden...*swoon*... Your days lately have sounded so good--just the right bit of everything sweet. Must thank you for the many sweet comments on my art/chakra posts. I am so glad you are enjoying this series along with me. This workshop has been a wonderful personal exploration, but also a great way to experience colors on a new & different level--very fun, and empowering! Happy Week, my friend ((BIG HUGS))

The journal on top looks like ones that I make! I need to get back into book making. I've been slacking because of getting a new job. And I let me studio get to a messy state!
Thank you for your sweetness, dear Jacqueline! You're so darling... I love seeing your comments on my blog!
