a little something for you

Starting the week with a surprise for you.

The hot saturday sun didn't stop my best girls (Adeline and Angela) and i from taking a drive to Chinatown (yes again). As anticipated, our trip to Chinatown was full of good times ~ with hours of wandering around selecting Chinese New Year lanterns and a few goodies for my little studio. We even managed to soak up some sunshine and some exercise. Here are some photos that tell the story.

Okay, now for the really fun part of this post. I have a pair of that adorable cute mini lanters (on the very first photo) to give away. I couldn't resist and i thought it would be nice to have a pair to share here on my little space. I wish Halloween is a huge event here in this city of brotherly love but unfortunately it's not. If it is, i would be looking forward to pumpkin carving and tricker-treaters ~ it's fun to see what comes a'knockin'!

There was such a variety of thoughtful comments and recommendations! I feel really lucky to have such a well-rounded generous friends. I like black tea and green tea, but i'm definitely open-minded to all other varieties. Thank you so much for playing along!

Okay not exactly... instead of putting all the names in a hat and making one of my best girls choose the winners. I took the easy road and consulted ye olde wizened Random Number Generator. I hope your weekend was relaxing. Mine just went by in a blur. Some weekends just do that. Oh and i didn't get a chance to make Broccoli-cheddar soup ~ i'm hoping for it this coming weekend. But in case you're wondering... here's the recipe. As always, she never disappoint me.
